The Farce of Atheism

What The Bible Says Illuminating The Questions

It really grates on my nerves when I hear people call themselves atheists, because it reveals the two dimensional nature of their thinking processes. It’s along the same lines as those who state emphatically that there is absolutely no absolute truth. By making the remark, they establish an absolute truth, thereby negating their own statement.

The bigger reason it annoys me is because there is no such thing as an atheist, just those who say they are. You can say you are a zizzerzazzerzuz, but that doesn’t make me one, right? And so claiming to be an atheist doesn’t make you one either. How do I know this? I thought you’d never ask. Well…Nancy, It’s because in order to state emphatically that God does not exist, you would have to be omniscient, which means you would possess complete knowledge of the entire universe and of every dimension and all parallel universes known and unknown.

But in order to have that knowledge, you would have to be omnipresent, so you could check out all of those universes and dimensions for evidence of this God Person.

Yet if you were omniscient, and omnipresent and could go check all those places out and come back and give us the report. But of course, if you were omniscient, you wouldn’t have to go check it all out to begin with because you would already have all knowledge and would have discovered that you were God.

The best you can hope for is to be called an agnostic, which, as you know, means “no knowledge of .” Atheism is like a blind person saying that there is no such thing as light or color despite what all of the sighted people around them are saying.

So, lets get real and think straight about what we claim, shall we?
